About Courage

Courage Partners is an experienced professional services company established in 2000, providing proven support to its many clients over the years. Courage is based in Canberra, but routinely undertakes projects across Australia.

Normally services are delivered by the Courage director and principal consultant, Noel Sutton, working closely with the client and the client’s team. If greater capability is required, Courage can bring together a team of experienced and close associates - individual senior consultants, or larger partner consulting firms, to work with Noel and meet client needs.

About our Director

Noel Sutton, founded Courage in 2000 supported by a small, highly skilled team. He works closely with individuals to clarify their thinking on strategic issues or personal development matters; and with the leadership of public and private organisations to define their intended outcomes, design their policies and programs, and work with them to identify if they are on track.

He draws on many years experience in senior leadership roles, evaluating numerous major programs, and 18 years as the Convenor of the Canberra Evaluation Forum (CEF). His strengths are his leadership experience, a deep knowledge of program evaluation, and an ability to facilitate and explore complex problems.

He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (FAICD); a Fellow of the Institute of Managers and Leaders (FIML); a practicing member of the Australasian Evaluation Society; and has held high-level security clearances.

Noel’s qualifications include

• Bachelor of Arts (UQ), Post Graduate Diploma in Social Science (UNE), a Master of Organisational Development (SCU); and
• Company Directors Course Diploma (AICD), Diploma of Military Art (RMC Duntroon), Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (AIM), and qualified in MBTI assessment.
